This lot consists of an old handwritten document dated 1949, accompanied by its original envelope. The photo shows a sheet carefully written in blue ink, featuring neat cursive handwriting. The header clearly indicates the date "Written on June 21, 1949". The main text announces the birth of a child named "André", with a polite closing typical of the era.

The visible envelope is addressed to "Madame Blanc, 780 rue de Rome, Marseille," and bears a partially legible postmark ("Gréoux Les Bains Rhumatis...") as well as a vintage pink stamp. The upper left corner of the envelope has a handwritten annotation ("Janvier"), probably added by the recipient or sender for archiving.
