Description

This old document is a registered share from the company "EmailleRies Réunies", based in Paris. The visible side shows a preferred share certificate for 100 francs, surrounded by a wide blue frame with a guilloche pattern typical of early 20th-century official documents. The background of the paper features a pale green halftone pattern, giving the whole a refined and secure visual appearance, common for this type of financial security.

At the top of the document is the heading "EmailleRies Réunies" in capital letters, accompanied by the circular "ER" logo on the left. The main text specifies the legal form (Société Anonyme), the share capital (6,500,000 francs), and the registered office in Paris. Several areas are reserved for numbering and identifying the holder, with blank spaces for signature and handwritten notes, indicating that it is an authentic, uncompleted copy.

The lower part of the document features a large table for dividend payments, divided into columns and boxes for recording successive payments. The reverse side is not visible in the photo and is therefore not described here. The entire document is printed on thick, blue-green paper, characteristic of old French shares from the 1920s to 1930s.

The graphic style, typography, and structure of the certificate are typical of vintage stock market documents, with attention paid to anti-counterfeiting security through the use of fine patterns and pastel colors. No tax stamp or handwritten annotations are visible on the visible part.

This type of share was used at the time to certify ownership of company shares, here in the industrial sector of enamelware. The document has a sought-after decorative aesthetic, with its bright blue frame and period motifs.

Condition

Used document, sold as is. The visible side shows no major stains or apparent tears, only slight handling marks consistent with its age. The colors remain clear and the inscriptions perfectly legible.

Did you know? Bearer and registered shares were common in the first half of the 20th century in France. Guilloche patterns and colored frames were used to limit counterfeiting and distinguish each issuing company. Enamel companies, like EmailleRies Réunies, played a key role in the French industrial and decorative boom, particularly for the production of advertising panels and enameled utensils.
