This document is an old bearer bond issued by the Société des Charbonnages du Dong-Trieu, dated April 1, 1931. It is a financial instrument printed on paper, typical of bond issues from the early 20th century. The visible side features an ornamental blue frame with geometric patterns, surrounding dense text printed in blue and black, with several red overprints, including the diagonally placed "ANNULÉE" (CANCELED) mark.

The center of the document displays the company's name in capital letters, followed by "Société Anonyme au capital de 28.000.000 de francs" (Limited Company with a capital of 28,000,000 francs). The main text details the loan terms: "Obligation de 1000 Francs 5 1/2% 1931 au porteur" (Bond of 1000 Francs 5 1/2% 1931 bearer). A unique number, here "N° 100659", is clearly visible in red at the bottom of the central text.

Also visible are a round red company seal, the inscription "Paris, le 1er Avril 1931" (Paris, April 1, 1931), and two printed signatures of administrators at the bottom of the document. The paper's background features a micro-print security pattern, common for this type of period certificate. The edges are slightly wavy, indicating old storage, and the paper shows some noticeable folds and slight handling marks, without major tears or visible missing parts on the displayed side.

The document bears the name of the head office "Haiphong Tonkin", evoking the history of French mining concessions in Asia in the early 20th century. The imprint "MODELE DEPOSÉ Imp. de la Banque et des Ch. d'Assurances - PARIS" (REGISTERED MODEL Bank and Insurance Co. Printers - PARIS) is at the bottom, confirming a typical manufacturing style for French bonds of that period.

Used item, sold as is. The paper shows distinct folds, slight signs of wear, and some visible creases on the displayed side. No major tears or apparent stains on the front.
