Description

Old bearer share issued by the Société des Chaux et Ciments du Sénégal, visible on the front of the document. This financial security, dating from the 1920s according to the graphic style and visible mentions, is printed on matte finished paper, with a wide blue-grey ornamental border with geometric patterns typical of the Art Deco era. The main inscription, "Action de Cent Francs au Porteur" (Bearer Share of One Hundred Francs), is framed by a central cartouche and topped with the company's name in stylized capital letters. Several original handwritten signatures appear at the bottom of the document, as well as a circular red company stamp affixed to the lower center.

The stated capital is 5,000,000 francs, and the registered office is mentioned in Dakar (Senegal). The share number, here "02831", is printed below the main cartouche. On the right side, a series of detachable coupons are present, also bearing the company's mention and red stamps. These coupons, typical of old securities, attest to the issuance period and contribute to the authenticity of the whole.

The whole features a two-color print (blue-grey and black) on an ivory background, with meticulous details and period typography. The edges are decorated with a wide stylized floral frieze.
