Description

An old bearer share certificate issued by the Société Minière du Djebel Felten, dated July 1, 1952, visible on the main face of this historic financial document. This share is printed on paper with a wide decorative blue-green border and an ornamental frame typical of securities from the first half of the 20th century. The company name, the mention "Action de deux mille cinq cents francs au porteur entièrement libérée" (Share of two thousand five hundred francs fully paid bearer), and the share number "015082" are perfectly legible in the center, accompanied by printed signatures and a distinctive red stamp.

On the right side, the document includes a series of coupons numbered 11 to 29, each bearing the company's name and the same share number, as well as red "SMDF" stamps. These coupons are attached and aligned in columns, typical of share certificates of the time, allowing for verification of authenticity and the progressive collection of dividends. The whole presents a clear impression, with repetitive floral motifs on the borders and a symmetrical layout characteristic of old financial documents.

The paper shows a slight natural undulation, with no visible tears or stains on the presented face. The perforations on the main part are characteristic of canceled or already cashed shares, which is common for documents of this period. The colors remain vibrant and contrasted, with a dominant blue-green and black and red inscriptions.

The typography used, as well as the structure of the coupons and the main text, reflect the administrative style of the 1950s, quite different from Art Deco securities or those from previous decades. This type of old security is highly prized for wall decoration, historical study, or research on the economic and mining history of the Maghreb and France.
