Description

An old bearer financial title, issued by the Société des Tôleries de Louvroil, illustrated here in a version dated from the 1920s. The document consists of a large certificate adorned with a decorative brown frame with plant motifs typical of the period, accompanied by a series of detachable coupons aligned at the bottom of the page. The main certificate features printed text in black and red, as well as several visible official stamps and handwritten signatures, testifying to its authenticity and historical use. The mention "Action de deux cent cinquante francs au porteur entièrement libérée" (Share of two hundred and fifty francs fully paid bearer) and the share number "12305" are clearly indicated on the upper part and on each coupon.

The decorative frame features an aesthetic characteristic of early 20th-century financial documents, with an elaborate border and coats of arms in a medallion. The main inscriptions are clearly legible, including the full name of the company, the share capital, and the location of the headquarters in Louvroil (Nord). Several blue and purple ink stamps are affixed to the document, one bearing the mention "SUSCRIPTION" (SUBSCRIPTION) and another the name of the company, reinforcing the historical value of the piece.

The lower part of the document consists of thirty-two numbered coupons, each bearing the designation "Société des Tôleries de Louvroil" and the corresponding share number, as well as the mentioned fiscal years (1914-1946 for the visible coupons). The coupons are printed in black and red on a cream background, with a stylized "STL" logo in red on the left. Their visual condition shows good preservation, with no missing coupons on the visible part, and good sharpness of the inscriptions and printed motifs.

This type of old paper share certificate was commonly used to materialize the possession of bearer shares in French public limited companies in the early 20th century. The whole presents a horizontal composition, with sober colors and a harmonious layout, typical of vintage financial iconography of the interwar period.

The document appears free of major stains, pronounced creases or visible tears on the shown side. The edges, although slightly wavy, do not show any apparent missing parts. The paper's patina and the presence of period stamps reinforce the authenticity and decorative interest of this old share certificate.
