Old financial certificate visible in the photo, it is a bearer share issued by the "Société Anonyme du Domaine de Cavals". The stated face value is 250 francs, with a clear mention "Action de 250 francs au porteur" (Share of 250 francs to bearer) prominently displayed in the center of the document. This certificate is adorned with a decorative frame typical of early 20th-century financial papers, featuring floral and geometric patterns along the border, printed in gold tint on a cream background.

The upper part of the document displays the full name of the company, the total issue amount ("100,000"), as well as various administrative information, handwritten notes, and printed signatures. Several official red stamps are visible, attesting to the validation of the share. The share number "2845" is clearly indicated, both on the main body and on the detachable coupons at the bottom.

Did you know? Bearer shares were commonly used in France until the mid-20th century.
