Description

This document, visible in the photo, is an old bearer share issued by the "Société de Charbonnages de Pacquesart" at the beginning of the 20th century. It is a carefully printed capital certificate, typical of the 1920s, recognizable by its graphic ornaments and its period administrative style. The share is presented with several coupons attached on the right, all numbered and bearing the mention "Action de Capital No. 37928". The main part of the certificate features a decorative frame with geometric patterns, a large central area with inscriptions in French, and an embossed blue fiscal stamp affixed at the top left.

The central area of the share bears the text "Société de Charbonnages de Pacquesart", followed by the mention "Société Anonyme Hollandaise" (Dutch Public Limited Company). The share capital and nominal value are indicated: "Capital Social: 2,600,000 Florins" and "Action de Capital de 40 Florins entièrement libérée" (Capital Share of 40 Florins fully paid up). The share number "37928" is clearly legible, as are the printed signatures of the administrators. At the bottom, the printer's address is shown: "Imprimerie E. Stockmans & Co, rue Otto Venius, 39, Antwerp".

The border is finely crafted in olive green tones, with an alternation of floral and geometric patterns. The paper used appears to be of good quality, with a slightly satin finish and an ivory tint, typical of official financial documents from this period. The coupons on the right, still attached, attest that the share has not been fully redeemed and reinforce the authenticity of the document.

The visual shows a blue stamp affixed to the upper part of the document, partially legible, adding an additional touch of administrative authenticity. The printing style, typography, and general presentation are characteristic of stock market documents and financial securities of the 1920s. No details appear regarding the reverse side or unseen edges.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. Some signs of wear, small handling marks, or slight undulations may be present, visible in the photo. The main inscriptions and coupons are well preserved and legible.
