Description

An authentic old financial certificate, this bearer share from "Société Générale Foncière" is a period document, typical of the 1920s, intended for collection or decoration. The document visible in the photo features a neat blue and black print on paper, with an ornamental frame featuring geometric and floral motifs, characteristic of early 20th-century financial certificates. The main title "SOCIÉTÉ GÉNÉRALE FONCIÈRE" is clearly legible at the top of the document, with a stated share capital of 25 million francs divided into 250,000 shares of 100 francs each.

The center of the document bears the inscription "ACTION DE 100 FRANCS AU PORTEUR" (100 FRANCS BEARER SHARE), followed by a unique number (here no. 018548), attesting to its authenticity and individual numbering. Several red stamps are also visible on the main document as well as on the detachable coupons, a visual signature of French financial companies of the era.

On the right side, a series of numbered coupons (here from the 11th to the 30th visible) remain attached. Each coupon bears the same share number and company name, which at the time allowed dividends to be collected. Red "SGF" (Société Générale Foncière) stamps are affixed across several of these coupons, reinforcing the official and historical aspect of the document.

The whole features a floral-patterned border on a blue background, typical of Art Deco aesthetics from the interwar period, and a finely detailed print. The paper shows a slight texture, with variations in hue due to age and preservation, giving the whole an authentic charm.

The registered office indicated is "42, rue de Penthièvre, Paris," an important detail for identifying the issuing company. Several printed signatures and stamps are visible on the central part of the document, confirming the notarial validation of the time.

Condition

This used document is sold as is. There is a slight patina and some handling marks on the edges, with no major tears visible on the presented side. Inscriptions and stamps remain perfectly legible.
