Description

This document is a bearer share issued by the company Bonnet, Blanchet & Cie, identifiable as a one thousand franc security. The visible side features a monochrome blue print on light paper, typical of French securities from the mid-20th century. The security is adorned with a geometric frame and several administrative inscriptions in print, giving the whole a very distinctive period aesthetic.

At the top of the page, the heading "BONNET, BLANCHET & Cie" is clearly legible, followed by the mention "Société Anonyme au Capital de 2.500.000 francs", then the address of the registered office "51, Rue Charles-de-Gaulle - ROANNE (Loire)". The center of the document displays in large characters "Action de Mille Francs au porteur" (One Thousand Franc Bearer Share), highlighting the function of this security as a nominative financial investment support.

The lower part of the document is divided into a series of detachable coupons, numbered from 1 to 25, each bearing the share number "002061". This arrangement is characteristic of bearer shares, allowing for periodic detachment for dividend collection. The printed signatures of two administrators are visible at the bottom left and right of the main frame.

The typography, graphics, and structure of the document are typical of French securities from the 1960s, with a neat layout and a predominant blue color that reinforce its vintage appearance. No superfluous decorative graphic elements are present, which is common for administrative documents of this period.

The general condition of the document visible in the photo shows good preservation: the paper appears flat, without marked folds or apparent tears, and the ink remains vivid and legible over the entire exposed surface.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. The document shows a nice presentation with clear inscriptions and a regular cut. No major defects are visible on the exposed side.

Did you know? Bearer shares were commonly used in France until the end of the 20th century, allowing for great confidentiality regarding the identity of holders. Since 1982, their issuance has been strictly regulated, and they have practically disappeared from the French financial landscape.
