Description

Old financial document visible in the photo, it is a bearer share issued by the Compagnie des Mines de l’Ouest. The share is presented open, revealing the main part of the certificate with its wide violet border with geometric patterns, as well as an attached coupon booklet, numbered and stamped. The main text, in blue letterpress printing, explicitly mentions "Fully paid-up Bearer Share of One Thousand Francs", with the share number "012,207" inscribed at the bottom left.

The central part of the share features an ornate cartouche, the company name, the head office in Paris, the face value (1000 francs), and the mention "limited company with a capital of 25,000,000 francs". The document is dated October 1952, which corresponds to a graphic style typical of the mid-20th century, recognizable by the use of elaborate borders and classic typography.

On the right, there is a series of detachable coupons, numbered 11 to 30, each bearing the company name, the share number, and a red stamp visible on several of them. These coupons are printed in blue and red on a cream background, in a regular arrangement, typical of French shares from that period.

The entire document is made of slightly yellowed paper, characteristic of old paper, with good print clarity. The visible edges are clean, with no apparent tears or pronounced creases.
