Description

An old financial document, visible in the photo, is a bearer share issued by "Comptoir Industriel" to promote agriculture, commerce, industry, and public works. This financial security features an ornamental frame in a typical early 20th-century style, with floral motifs and detailed cartouches in burgundy and lavender tones on a cream background. The main heading "COMPTOIR INDUSTRIEL" appears in large capital letters, accompanied by precise information about the issuing company and the par value of the share ("Action de 250 Francs au porteur").

The document, printed in Brussels, is individually numbered, here "N° 038.040". The handwritten signatures of two administrators are clearly visible at the bottom of the security, as well as the date "July 1, 1927". The printing features elegant typography, characteristic of stock market documents and bonds from the 1920-1930 period. The paper shows a rigid texture, typical of old shares, with a slight patina visible on the edges.

On the right side, there is a series of detachable coupons, numbered and bearing the same heading "Comptoir Industriel", each with an amount, a numbering, and a reference to the main share number. These coupons were used to collect dividends or interest associated with the share. The margins of the document are decorated with complex motifs, reinforcing the historical character of the security.
