Description

Old bearer share certificate issued by Société Anonyme des Établissements Mehuys, dated October 16, 1928, visible on the upper part of the document. This certificate is presented as a large rectangular sheet, printed on paper with a dominant cream and pale green coloration, and a frame adorned with finely crafted pink motifs, typical of financial documents from the early 20th century.

The upper part features the inscription "SOCIÉTÉ ANONYME des Établissements MEHUYS" as well as the address of the registered office in Croix (Nord), 212, Rue Verte. "ACTION DE 100 FRANCS AU PORTEUR" (BEARER SHARE OF 100 FRANCS) is written in capital letters in a central cartouche, followed by "Entièrement libérée" (Fully paid) and the share number 007014, repeated on all detachable coupons at the bottom.

The document features a wide decorative frieze with geometric and floral motifs, framing the main text, as well as several printed or handwritten signatures (readable at the bottom right and left). The typographic printing and the fineness of the details demonstrate the administrative and graphic expertise characteristic of the 1920s.

At the bottom are numerous numbered coupons, each bearing the inscription "Établissements MEHUYS – Action N° 007014" and topped with round stamps. These coupons were intended to be detached when dividends or other financial rights were paid. The presence of these coupons confirms that the certificate is complete on the visible side of the photo.

The entire document, although slightly wavy at the edges, appears to be in good general condition in the visible area, with no major tears or apparent traces of moisture.
