Description

Old bearer share certificate from the company "INDELIM" (Compagnie d'Exploitations Industrielles, Électriques et Immobilières), dated March 15, 1932. This vintage financial document is presented open, showing the main share on the left and a sheet of numbered detachable coupons on the right, all in the name of the Indelim company. The whole is characterized by blue-grey printing on cream paper, typical of early 20th-century stock market documents. The ornamental frame with geometric patterns, handwritten signatures, and the large red "Cancelled" stamp affixed to each coupon underscore the authenticity and age of this document.

On the main page, the mention "Action de Cinq Cents Francs au porteur entièrement libérée" (Bearer Share of Five Hundred Francs fully paid up) is clearly visible, with the unique number 051877. The text is printed in period typefaces, with the company name and the address of its headquarters in Paris. The graphic composition reflects the administrative and rigorous style of the 1930s, with a decorative border framing all legal and financial information. The original signatures are clearly visible at the bottom of the document.

The right part presents twelve rectangular coupons, each bearing the share number 051877 and a payment order for various dividends. Each coupon is crossed out with a red "Cancelled" stamp, certifying that these rights have been used or expired. The borders and fonts use the same graphic style as the main page, ensuring perfect visual coherence.

The paper shows a slight patina, testifying to its age, with a matte texture and clean edges. No major defects are visible on the exposed side: no chips, halos, or apparent tears. The document is placed on a wooden lectern, emphasizing its historical and administrative character.

This type of old security, also called a "coupon share," was common in the 1920s-1930s to materialize the ownership of bearer shares. This is an authentic example, ideal for display as a document of industrial heritage or a vintage decorative object.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. Light patina and wear consistent with age, no visible defects on the presented side.

Did you know? Until the 1940s, bearer shares were issued on paper with detachable coupons for collecting dividends. After each payment, a coupon was submitted to the bank, hence the frequent presence of "Cancelled" stamps on these documents. This type of support gradually disappeared with the dematerialization of financial securities in the second half of the 20th century.
