Description

This document is a bearer share from the limited company "L'Omnite," issued in Paris in the 1920s. The share is in the form of a large rectangular sheet, printed in sepia brown tones on cream paper. The upper part features an ornamental frame with floral motifs and scrolls typical of early 20th-century administrative aesthetics, with the company's emblem centered at the top. The title "L’OMNITE" is perfectly legible in capital letters, accompanied by the mention "Société Anonyme au Capital de 844.800 Francs" (Public Limited Company with a Capital of 844,800 Francs).

The mention "Part Bénéficiaire au Porteur" (Bearer Profit Share) is clearly visible in the center, followed by the share number, here N° 010395. Two handwritten administrator signatures are visible at the bottom right and left of the central frame. The registered office indicated is in Paris. Several circular stamps "L’OMNITE - Société Anonyme" are visible, attesting to the authenticity and circulation of this security.

In the lower part, the sheet has a grid of detachable coupons numbered 1 to 29, each bearing the mention "L’OMNITE," the security number, and the word "Remboursement" (Refund). The coupons are printed in light brown, with validation stamps. These elements are typical of French shares and bonds from the early 20th century, both in their presentation and in their typography and decorative motifs.

The paper shows a slight patina visible in the photo, with some folds and signs of wear, attesting to its age. No major tears or significant stains are visible on the displayed side. The printing remains clear and legible, both on the main body of the document and on the coupons. The overall condition is well preserved for a document of this period.

The main inscriptions visible are: "L’OMNITE," "Société Anonyme au Capital de 844.800 Francs," "Part Bénéficiaire au Porteur," "Siège social à Paris," as well as signatures and serial numbers. The mentions on coupons and stamps are also clearly legible.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. Slight signs of handling, folds, and small age marks visible in the photo. Good overall condition for an old document from this era.

Did you know? Bearer shares like this one were commonly used in France in the early 20th century, allowing their holder to exercise financial rights without a nominative mention. They bear witness to the economic and administrative history of the period, before the generalization of registered securities from the 1980s.
