Description

Old mechanical panel ammeter, designed to measure electric current in amperes. The object features a circular dial protected by glass, mounted on a polygonal metal plate. The dial is graduated from -25 to +25 amperes, with a central area marked "DÉCHARGE" (DISCHARGE) (on the left) and "CHARGE" (CHARGE) (on the right), allowing for visualization of the electric current flowing into or out of an electrical system, typically a battery or charging setup.

The visible face displays a slightly patinated white background with a central black needle. The inscriptions "AMPÈRES", "CHARGE", and "DÉCHARGE" are clearly legible, printed in black. The fine graduation and typography indicate an industrial style from before 1970. The metallic rim of the dial shows an oxidation patina and some signs of wear, attesting to the instrument's age.
