This document is an original copy of the professional magazine "Le Journal des Brodeuses" (The Embroiderers' Journal), dated July 1, 1949 (year clearly indicated at the top of the cover). It is issue number 652, as specified in the upper right corner. This specialized periodical, published in Lyon by F. Laurent, was intended for embroiderers and textile professionals. The cover features an elaborate black and white floral ornamentation, typical of French publications from the first half of the 20th century, with elegant initials and a structured layout.
