This document is an original copy of the illustrated newspaper "Lisette", dated Sunday, October 2, 1932. It is issue number 40 of the twelfth year (586th installment), an emblematic French weekly publication aimed at young girls, subtitled "Journal des fillettes" (Girls' Newspaper). The particularly expressive cover features a colorful domestic scene: a young woman and a man in a period kitchen, on a red and white checkered floor, surrounded by utensils and hanging pots. The illustration bears the visible signature "L. Maîtrejean".

The title of the main story "Sans Nom (Suite)" (Untitled (Continued)) appears at the bottom of the page, indicating the continuation of a serialized story. The layout highlights the Lisette logo on a blue-green background, surrounded by stylized roses, as well as several editorial details: "16 Pages", "Price: 25 Centimes", and the address of the offices in Paris. The whole immediately evokes the graphic style and editorial codes of the 1930s.

The visible surface of the newspaper shows yellowed paper, typical of old press, with worn edges and slight creases, with no mention of major defects other than a period patina. The colors of the illustration remain well preserved despite natural fading due to time. The typography used for the title "Lisette" is characteristic of the interwar period, both elegant and dynamic.

This issue evidently comprises 16 pages, as indicated on the cover. One can guess a traditional layout for youth press of the time, probably with illustrated stories, moral tales, or educational sections, even if only the front is visible in the photo. Condition

Used item, sold as is. Visible handling marks, yellowing of the paper, wear and corner creases, slightly dog-eared corners. The whole remains solid and perfectly legible on the visible side.
