Description

This old issue of "Lisette" is an authentic copy from January 15, 1933, as clearly indicated by the date printed at the top right of the cover. It is issue number 3 of the thirteenth year (601st delivery), a weekly periodical intended primarily for young girls, identifiable by the mention "Journal des fillettes" (Girls' Newspaper) below the title. The magazine consists of 16 pages, information mentioned in a yellow box located to the left of the title banner.

The cover, richly illustrated in the typical graphic style of the 1930s, depicts a colorful interior scene: a standing couple is seen embracing in front of a bed on which an elderly woman is lying. The period decor includes a wardrobe, a wall painting, a table lamp, as well as furniture with rounded lines and green, orange, and brown tones. The scene is captioned "SANS NOM (Suite)" (Untitled (Continued)), indicating the continuation of a serialized story.

The title "Lisette" appears in turquoise blue on an oval background, with decorative elements of stylized roses. The original selling price is clearly visible: 25 centimes, in a yellow insert on the right. Publishing information is printed below the title, specifying the address of the offices in Paris.

The cover shows a uniform patina, typical of old papers: ivory tint, signs of wear, slightly dog-eared corners, and a few small visible stains, without altering the readability of the graphic or textual elements. The spine and edges show discreet traces of handling, common for a copy from this era.

The overall appearance is characteristic of illustrated youth periodicals from the early 20th century, both in terms of illustration style, typography, and editorial structure visible on the cover.

Condition

Second-hand item sold as is. Traces of wear, blunted corners, small stains and general patina visible on the cover, consistent with the age of the newspaper.
