Description

This lot features an authentic copy of the illustrated newspaper "Lisette", dated Sunday, November 19, 1933, issue 47 of the thirteenth year (645th delivery). Published in Paris, this weekly magazine was intended for young girls and female readers, making it a valuable testament to early 20th-century children's press.

The cover is illustrated in color with a lively beach scene, typical of the narrative and graphic style of the 1930s. It depicts a family by the sea, in front of a striped tent, with characters in period attire and a deckchair, all signed by the illustrator Levesque. The front page announces the continuation of the story "La Maison sans Portes" (The House without Doors), the main title of the issue, and mentions that the story continues on pages 8 and 9. The Lisette logo is highlighted on a blue background, framed by stylized roses, and the mention "16 pages" appears in yellow on the left. The vintage price is also visible: 25 centimes.

The paper shows the characteristic patina of old periodicals, with homogeneous yellowing, some signs of wear on the edges, and slightly dog-eared corners, testifying to its age and handling.
