This old issue of the "Lisette" newspaper is a true testament to the French girls' press of the 1930s. The full-color cover features an illustrated scene titled "Le Gant Perdu" (The Lost Glove): a young girl standing opposite a man seated in a green armchair, within a bourgeois interior of the era, while a woman in bed appears in the background. The overall scene evokes a typical family atmosphere found in illustrated children's literature from the first half of the 20th century.

At the top of the page, the title "Lisette" is displayed in a blue oval cartouche, surrounded by floral motifs, accompanied by the mention "Journal des fillettes" (Girls' Newspaper). It indicates that this issue, number 25 of the thirteenth year (623rd delivery), was published on Sunday, June 18, 1933. The layout highlights the original price (25 centimes) as well as the number of pages (16 pages), characteristic details of weekly children's publications of that era.
