This old issue of the illustrated newspaper "Lisette", dated Sunday, November 4, 1934, is a typical example of early 20th-century girls' youth press. The cover, perfectly preserved on the visible side, features a colorful illustration executed in a graphic style characteristic of the 1930s, with two female characters in an indoor scene, one wearing a short dress, the other adopting an expressive posture, in connection with the story's title: "La Robe trop courte" (The Too Short Dress).

The title "Lisette" is highlighted by a blue and yellow insert surrounded by stylized floral motifs. The entire cover page displays dominant beige, green, pink, and yellow tones, typical of color printing on newsprint from that era. The mention "16 Pages" as well as the original price of 25 centimes (in yellow on a black background) are clearly legible, as are the reference to the "Journal des fillettes" (Girls' Newspaper) and the banner "Parait : Chaque Semaine" (Published: Weekly).

The visible edition bears the number 44, fourteenth year, and clearly indicates the publication date. The address of the editorial office in Paris is also printed on the cover. The illustrated scene and the story's title on the front reinforce the narrative aspect specific to youth press of this period. The graphic composition, the clothes depicted, and the overall aesthetic are consistent with 1930s iconography.

The visual condition shows a period patina: the paper has a yellowed tint, oxidation marks in the corners, and some traces of handling, without, however, obscuring the details of the illustration or the inscriptions. The corners are slightly rounded, the right edge shows minor wear, but the cover remains generally well-preserved for a periodical of this age.

Used item, sold as is. The front cover has a uniform coloration with visible age spots at the top and bottom, without major tears or apparent missing parts on the photographed side.
