Old postmarked envelope from the Hôtel de la Paix in Roanne. The envelope bears a handwritten address in Lyon, a red French postage stamp, and a legible postmark. The printed letterhead states "Montillier-Béraud, 29 avenue Gambetta, Roanne". The whole piece features beautiful old handwriting, typical of the early 20th century. Paper yellowed by time, visible signs of use.
