Description

This antique ring features a wide, slightly oval band, fully visible in the photo. The object is made of brass, as indicated by the keywords, with a dark, matte patinated finish that shows some signs of wear. The ring is distinguished by its openwork pattern composed of small, regular cutouts, evoking stylized floral shapes, typical of the Art Nouveau style. The openwork runs around the entire visible circumference, creating a refined play of transparency.

The overall appearance of the jewelry is understated but well-crafted, with a subtle relief effect on the surface. The edges of the band are clean and without additional decoration, which highlights the central motif. The color of the brass shows a patinated golden hue, accentuated by brown and bronze reflections, characteristic of the natural oxidation of unvarnished metal.

The ring, photographed placed on a carved wooden box, clearly shows its significant width and its clean profile. No hallmarks or inscriptions are visible on the exposed face. The inside of the band is not shown in the image and is therefore not described here, in accordance with the instructions.

The design of this ring is reminiscent of late 19th-century Art Nouveau creations, with its organic motifs and openwork metalwork. This style was particularly popular for women's jewelry of the time, emphasizing nature and the lightness of the decorations.

Size 52 is indicated in the keywords, which corresponds to a standard finger size for this type of ring. The width of the band and the openwork motif make it a decorative piece of jewelry, easy to wear alone or stacked with other antique or costume rings.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. The brass surface has a uniform patina with some visible signs of wear, with no apparent missing parts on the photographed face. No chips or major deformations are observed on the visible part.
