Description

Antique pharmacy box, visible in the photo, from Laboratoires Roussel in Paris. It is a rectangular package bearing the words "UROFORMINE GOBEY EFFERVESCENTE" on a wide red band. Below, it reads "LES LABORATOIRES ROUSSEL" and "Laboratoires Gobey," as well as the address "89, rue du Cherche-Midi, Paris (VIe)." An emblem representing a stylized medical caduceus, associated with the Roussel brand, is also present in the center.

The box is predominantly ochre yellow with red and black inscriptions. The graphics, typical of pharmaceutical packaging from the early to mid-20th century, clearly evoke a bygone era. The outer surface shows a patina of use, including some rubbing and discrete marks on the edges, as well as slight wear to the cardboard, visible on the corners and edges.

The lid is flat, adorned with a dark blue frame around the inscriptions.
