Description

Old flat advertising tin, rectangular with rounded corners. One side is illustrated with a graphic design typical of mid-20th century French industrial design. It features a black background adorned with a red and yellow motif, with a yellow frame. The inscription "DJET" appears in the bottom left, in yellow letters, while "SECME PARIS" is in the bottom right, in red and yellow letters. The surface shows significant signs of wear, pronounced rust especially in the upper right and lower right corners, as well as printing imperfections and scratches across the entire visual.

The tin appears to be made of metal with a lacquered or printed finish, typical of French advertising tins from the 1950s-1960s, although the exact period cannot be confirmed without further clues. The graphics, combining bright colors and geometric lines, evoke post-war advertising codes. The brand "DJET", associated with "SECME PARIS", indicates a product or accessory probably related to the world of toys or mechanics, SECME being known for its model cars and metal accessories.

The lid (or visible top face) has several areas of oxidation, with a pitted appearance and corrosion spots, revealing the underlying metal in places. Some parts of the decoration are erased or obscured by wear. No other details are visible on the other sides.

The typography and style of the tin are reminiscent of advertising packaging intended to promote technical or playful items, often offered as premiums or sold in specialized shops. The object retains a certain industrial and retro charm despite its marked condition.
