Description

An old advertising tin for Solutricine lozenges, produced by Laboratoire Roger Bellon in Paris. The item is flat and rectangular, typical of lozenge or pill tins from the mid-20th century. The visible side features a light background with dark blue printing, containing the following text: "AFFECTIONS BUCCO-PHARYNGÉES-STOMATITES-ANGINES SOLUTRICINE PASTILLES Tyrothricine pure... pour une pastille... 1 milligramme" (BUCCO-PHARYNGEAL AFFECTIONS-STOMATITIS-ANGINA SOLUTRICINE LOZENGES Pure tyrothricin... per lozenge... 1 milligram). The laboratory's address is also included: "78 bis Avenue Marceau – Paris (VIIIe)".

The tin has a patinated appearance and signs of wear, indicative of its age. Oxidation marks, stains, and scuffs are visible, particularly on the central part and the corners.
