Description

This vintage-style Vivitar hiking compass is a folding compass with a predominantly black frame. The visible face features the "Vivitar" logo in clear white letters, positioned in the center of the round cover. A gold-finished metal ring, attached to the right side, serves both as protection and a handle for easy carrying or attaching to a bag.

The rectangular casing with a circular lid has a matte, robust appearance, typical of outdoor hiking compasses. A rectangular window in the center reveals the compass capsule inside. Two golden metal rivets are visible on the upper part, on either side of the ring, highlighting the overall solidity.

The compass surface shows some superficial signs of wear, including slight marks and a patina characteristic of outdoor use, with no apparent structural defects. The overall condition remains excellent for an object of this category, with a folding mechanism that appears functional on the visible face.
