Description

Cazanove brand liquor bottle, seen here in a Curaçao Triple Sec version. The bottle has a rectangular shape with rounded shoulders, made of thick green glass. The front features an old-looking, legible label, displaying "CAZANOVE" at the top, followed by "CURAÇAO TRIPLE SEC" in large black and red characters. It also reads "LIQUEUR EXTRA DRY" as well as several other pieces of information, including "Maison Centenaire" (Centennial House) and two illustrated commemorative medals, typical of awards received at exhibitions. The Cazanove logo, featuring a stylized character, is placed in the center of the label.

The neck of the bottle is topped with a gold metallic cap, ringed in red, bearing the inscription "CAZANOVE DISTILLATEUR" and stylized motifs. No cork stopper is visible; the cap appears to be original and unopened. The glass has a shiny appearance, with no engraved decoration or apparent relief on this side. The liquid level is not visible in the photo, but the bottle appears to be complete and unopened on the visible side.

The label mentions a capacity of 70 cl and an alcohol content of 35%. Several mentions specify the origin: "Cazanove S.A., Distillateurs, Bordeaux Mérignac, France". At the bottom, the legal description "ALCOOL, SUCRE, DISTILLAT OU INFUSION D’ECORCES D’ORANGES OU FRUITS" (ALCOHOL, SUGAR, DISTILLATE OR INFUSION OF ORANGE PEELS OR FRUITS) is legible. All inscriptions are printed in black, red, and gold, on a white background slightly patinated by time, giving an authentic and retro look to the whole.

The overall design of the bottle, the typography, and the graphic style of the label evoke a production from past decades, probably from the mid to late 20th century, without a precise date indicated on the visible side. The bottle is photographed in a bright environment, with reflections on the glass, but no chips or cracks are visible in the area shown.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. The front label shows signs of wear, some visible marks and patina, typical of an old preserved bottle, with no major apparent deterioration on the displayed side. The metallic cap shows slight superficial marks. No other defects are observable on the visible side.
