Description

Old Infangyl Carlier medicine box, visible in the photo, typical of the 1940s due to its graphics and typography. The packaging is predominantly green and yellow, with black inscriptions characteristic of mid-20th century French pharmaceutical aesthetics. The box is made of printed cardboard and has a top opening revealing a bottle inside, of which only the neck and cap are partially visible.

The front of the box features the clearly legible inscription "INFANGYL CARLIER", followed by therapeutic indications: "For the treatment of respiratory tract affections in CHILDREN". The main functions are indicated: "Powerful expectorant, Cough suppressant, Mild laxative". Further down, the manufacturer's name is visible: "LABORATOIRES CARLIER" with a partially visible address in Paris.

The cardboard shows signs of use and age: blunt corners, wear on the edges, slight discoloration in places, and a deformed top flap. The surface also has signs of age, including stains and scuffs typical of objects preserved for several decades.

The bottle contained inside is only partially visible, but a narrow neck and cap are discernible, which appear to be of the period, reinforcing the authentic character of this old medicine. The ensemble evokes pharmaceutical products for children distributed in pharmacies in the first half of the 20th century.
