Description

This antique wick lighter is distinguished by its compact rectangular design, typical of pocket accessories from the early to mid-20th century. The object is presented open, revealing the wick on the upper part and a separate cap. The exterior surface shows a pronounced patina, with signs of wear consistent with its age and past use.

The finish shows a brown metallic appearance, enhanced by decorative vertical striations on the visible face of the body and cap. These parallel, regularly spaced lines add a touch of graphic sobriety to the whole. No legible logo, brand, or inscription is apparent on the photographed area.

The top of the lighter reveals the wick, whose color and condition suggest prior use. Dark traces and slight oxidation are visible around the opening, indicating authentic use. The cap, slightly rounded on top, perfectly fits the lower part of the body when closed.

The volume of the lighter, although not measured, presents a slender and elongated silhouette, suitable for easy handling or carrying in a jacket pocket. The general hue, dark brown with golden reflections in places, is accentuated by the patina of use, giving the object a distinctly retro character.
