Description

This vintage retro-style lighter features an elongated oval shape with rounded ends, characteristic of mid-20th-century models. The object displays a glossy black finish, marked by multiple signs of wear, scratches, and visible impacts on the surface, attesting to prior use and reinforcing its vintage authenticity.

A central band, gold-colored with a patinated appearance, encircles the body of the lighter. This band features a legible engraved inscription: "BRASS JAPAN", indicating the manufacturing origin and the probable use of brass for this central part. The gold hue of the band sharply contrasts with the deep black of the rest of the object, offering an elegant visual effect typical of period smoking accessories.

The visible surface shows a lacquered or varnished appearance, with chips in the black layer revealing the underlying material in places.
