Description

An antique badge-style brooch, depicting a tourist coat of arms from Interlaken. The visible front features a brightly colored enameled design: light blue in the background, dark blue in the lower part, touches of green and white, with the stylized silhouette of a reddish-brown chamois on a snowy mountain landscape. The inscription "Interlaken" is clearly legible at the top on a white background.

The brooch has a classic coat of arms shape, with clean lines and a shiny finish. The enameled treatment offers a vitrified effect, particularly visible on the dark blue parts which have a speckled or glittery appearance. The raised elements of the design are highlighted by fine silver lines, delineating each color area.

The central illustration features an animal typical of the Alps, probably a chamois, standing on a green base symbolizing the meadow, in front of a stylized mountain range whose peaks are covered in white, evoking snow. The ensemble clearly evokes the iconography of Swiss Alpine resort souvenirs.

The reverse is not visible in the photo, but the front shows neither signature nor apparent hallmark. No mechanical elements are visible in this shot, but the typology and the prominence of the design suggest use as a brooch or souvenir badge.

The piece is in good overall condition, with some minor signs of wear or small irregularities in the enamel and inscription, typical of a vintage object.
