Description

Old brooch of Soviet origin, displaying a geometric composition marked by a dominant light blue and silver. The object is square with softened corners, centered on a partially openwork circle traversed by a prominent horizontal line. The inside of the circle features an abstract blue and white pattern, evoking a stylized graphic. Around the circle, an inscription in relief in the Cyrillic alphabet is clearly visible: "РАЗОРВАННОЕ КОЛЬЦО ДОРОГА ЖИЗНИ" (literally translated as: "Broken Ring Road of Life"), a direct reference to the Road of Life, the legendary supply route for the Siege of Leningrad during World War II.

The brooch highlights a clear contrast in colors, with a bright blue background and silver-colored metallic-looking surfaces, probably covered with an enameled finish. The relief of the letters and the play of volumes accentuate the commemorative effect, typical of Soviet insignia and jewelry produced to mark major historical events. No manufacturer or year markings are visible on the displayed side, in accordance with many civilian insignia of the period.

The fastening on the reverse is not visible in the photo, but the shape and thickness suggest a classic brooch or badge-type attachment system. The front surface shows a homogeneous shine, without major flaking, with a slight dark spot on the lower white part, visible in the photo.

Used item, sold as is. The enamel and silver finish present a very good general appearance on the visible side, with a slight pinpoint mark on the white part. No major chips or cracks observed in the photo.
