Description

Vintage Soviet brooch depicting the Tretyakov Gallery, a major art museum in Moscow. The object has an original shape resembling a painter's palette, with a golden outline and a polychrome enameled surface. The visible side displays a stylized illustration of the building's facade, rendered in relief and highlighted by vibrant colors: light blue for the sky, gold and green for the roofs, brick red and white for the walls and gates. In the upper right, a golden motif topped with green and red touches evokes a paintbrush or an artistic element, reinforcing the connection to the museum and pictorial world.

The brooch features a Cyrillic inscription: "Третьяковская галерея", meaning "Tretyakov Gallery", perfectly legible on the lower part. The cloisonné enamel gives the piece a characteristic luster of Soviet commemorative objects from the 1970s-1980s. The colors are bold, well-defined, with a glossy finish and a golden appearance around the entire perimeter and architectural details.

The visible side shows a very satisfactory state of preservation: the enamel does not show any apparent chips or cracks, and the gilding retains a beautiful shine, without visible oxidation. No major defects are visible on the photographed surface. The reverse side and the fastening system are not visible in the image, so only the front elements can be described here.

This typical USSR badge-brooch is often associated with the Soviet period to commemorate cultural institutions or artistic events. This is a flat object with an enameled surface, used as an accessory or souvenir, also called a pin or emblem.

The piece is distinguished by its colorful palette and graphic design, characteristic of vintage Soviet production. The object is placed on a carved wooden stand, which is not included in the sale.

Used item, sold as photographed. Good overall condition, well-preserved front surface, with no chips or noticeable scratches on the visible enamel or gilding.
