Description
Antique rhombus-shaped brooch, typical of Soviet badges, adorned with architectural decoration and Cyrillic inscriptions. The visible side features a stylized representation of a castle or fortified complex, in relief on a metallic background, with finely carved architectural details. The upper part of the brooch is enhanced with a bright yellow enamel, on which a red star encircled, also enameled, is depicted. Two distinct areas, yellow and black, structure the visual, highlighting the central building.

At the top, the inscription "ПОСЕЛОК МИР" ("Poselok Mir") is clearly legible, while at the bottom, "старый замок" ("Staryi Zamok") means "old castle" or "ancient castle". The ensemble probably evokes a tourist or historical site of the USSR, promoted on this commemorative badge. The brooch stands out for its contrast between the silver metallic surfaces, the colored enamel flats, and the fineness of the engraving.

The badge presents a graphic style typical of the Soviet era, with a geometric composition and patrimonial iconography. The reliefs are clear, and the enamel, although showing some slight imperfections or irregularities, remains clearly visible. No manufacturer's mark is visible on the photographed side.
