Description

This antique RESIST brand padlock features the characteristic silhouette of traditional padlocks with a rounded shackle. The visible side displays a matte metallic finish, marked by a uniform patina and traces of oxidation typical of prolonged use. The body of the padlock, slightly trapezoidal in shape, is reinforced by four visible rivets on the surface, highlighting the robustness of its manufacturing.

The inscription "RESIST" is clearly embossed in capital letters in the center, within a raised oval. On the lower left of the face, a partially legible circular engraving is also visible: "FABRICATION FRANÇAISE L.M.", indicating French origin and traditional craftsmanship. The key lock is of a classic type, with a simple vertical keyhole-shaped opening.

The dominant color is steel gray, with darker shades on the shackle and around areas of friction. Some traces of surface rust are visible, particularly around the rivets, enhancing the authentic and vintage appearance of this security accessory. The metal texture appears slightly rough, suggesting an old alloy rather than a smooth contemporary production.
