Description

This lot offers an antique mechanical watch dial from the DUKE brand, presented in a purple velvet-lined box. The dial displays a characteristic vintage aesthetic, with a patinated surface and clear black Arabic numerals from 1 to 12. The inscription "ANTICHOC" appears at the bottom of the dial, indicating a specific feature of the original watch. The hands are present (hour and minute hands visible), while the second hand appears to be missing. The side winder is apparent, highlighting the mechanical nature of this piece.

The dial shows an aged finish, with traces of oxidation and visible signs of wear on the surface, particularly around the 11-12 o'clock area and the winder. The typography used for the numerals is typical of mid-20th century watches, reinforcing the retro look of the whole. The presentation box, made of dark wood and lined with purple fabric, highlights the piece and protects it from direct light.
