Description

This antique card features a lot of twelve lingerie buttons, all visible, attached to their original backing. The buttons are round, four-hole, with a smooth finish and a brilliant white appearance. The cardboard card has a yellow border and printed burgundy inscriptions, including "BOUTONS LINGERIE" (LINGERIE BUTTONS) at the top, the number "20", as well as the mention "La Carte" (The Card) and the period price "2 fr. 20" in the lower left.

The vintage graphic design of the card, with its stylized illustration of a character holding a ball of yarn, evokes haberdashery accessories from the 1950s to 1960s, typical of French button production for sewing and lingerie.
