Description

France Telecom chip phone card, vintage illustrated model, featuring a humorous color visual. On the front, the image shows an elderly woman sitting at a table, smiling, with a push-button phone in front of her, accompanied by a parakeet or parrot-like bird on the back of the chair. To the left, the inscription "ROCCO c’est le plus beau!" (ROCCO is the most beautiful!) is printed in green, while to the right, a blue and red humorous text asks: "Je voulais de la compagnie, j’ai tapé perroquet. Pour avoir la paix si je tapais poissons rouges ?" (I wanted company, I typed parrot. If I typed goldfish, would I have peace?).

The card's design is typical of the 1990s, with a colorful graphic composition and an offbeat tone, characteristic of France Telecom campaigns of that period. The France Telecom logo appears in the bottom right, and the mention "Télécarte 50" (Phone Card 50) is in white on a blue background in the bottom left, indicating a capacity of 50 units.

The golden electronic chip is clearly visible on the left side of the card, surrounded by a rectangular frame. The entire surface has a smooth finish, with no apparent background pattern other than the main illustration. No other text or numbers are visible on the front shown.

The contrast between the blue background, the touches of red and green on the texts, and the central photograph gives this phone card a striking visual aspect. The item is presented on a white support, in natural light, allowing the overall condition of the front to be appreciated.

Condition

Used phone card, sold as is. The visible side does not show any major apparent defects (no chips, scratches, or significant wear observed in the photo). The chip appears intact, and the card's surface retains its original colors.

Did you know? France Telecom chip phone cards were introduced in France in the early 1980s and became common objects until the late 1990s, before the advent of mobile phones. Some editions, particularly humorous or limited edition ones, are now sought after for their heritage value and their design representative of French telephone culture.
