Description

Old telephone card known as "Télécarte", illustrated with an advertising visual dedicated to Minitel 2, an emblematic terminal of the pre-Internet era in France. The front features a dominant blue color with a photograph highlighting a Minitel keyboard, a screen displaying "France Télécom" in pixelated characters, and the mention "Minitel 2" inscribed in white in the upper left corner. The golden chip, typical of chip cards used in the 80s-90s, is visible on the left. On the right side, the vertical inscription "Télécarte 50" indicates the format and usage capacity of the card.

The graphic design incorporates visual codes typical of the period, with a pixellation effect reminiscent of Minitel terminal displays. The card features shades of blue and gray, highlighting the visual identity linked to the technology of the time. The corners are rounded, in accordance with the standard format of French telephone cards.

The visible side shows no major apparent defects: the surface appears clean, with no significant scratches or signs of wear detectable in the photo. The golden chip is intact and well integrated into the card. No chips, creases, or deformities are observable on the edges or the printed area.

This advertising card associates the history of French public telephones with that of Minitel, both emblematic of communication in France at the end of the 20th century. The presence of the "France Télécom" logo and graphics reinforces the authenticity of the object and its interest for any research related to the history of telecommunications.

The card has a glossy finish and a smooth appearance, typical of chip cards from that era. No other text, number, or individual detail is legible on this side.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. The visible side is in very good condition, with no notable defects apparent in the photo.
