Description

This smart card telephone card honors the Peugeot brand and its performance at the 1993 24 Hours of Le Mans. On the visible side, a dynamic photograph shows a Peugeot race car, headlights on, against a dark background evoking the nocturnal atmosphere of the event. The main inscription, in white letters, reads: "PEUGEOT 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 93".

The rectangular design with rounded corners follows the standards of French telephone cards from the early 1990s. In the lower left, the mention "Télécarte 120" specifies the card's capacity (120 units), a typical piece of information for this medium. To the right, the date "Saturday, June 19, 11 p.m...." recalls the precise context of the race, adding commemorative value to the object.

The electronic chip, visible on the left, testifies to the technology used on telephone cards of this period. The photographic background with dark blue and black dominants highlights the yellow headlights and the details of the car, including the Peugeot logo and the ESSO sponsor, which are partially legible on the grille.

The card has a glossy appearance and the image seems well preserved, without major scratches or apparent chips on the visible side. No other graphic details or serial numbers are visible on this side.

This type of telephone card was commonly produced as a promotional item or souvenir for major sporting events, and today represents a tangible testament to the technologies and design of the 1990s in the world of motor racing.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. The image and inscriptions are clear on the visible side, the chip is intact. For any details on the condition of the other side, please consult the photos or ask for more information.
