Description

This vintage France Telecom phone card features a finely illustrated front, dominated by marbled blue and pastel pink hues, evoking an abstract artistic style. The main inscription "LA FONDATION FRANCE TELECOM MECENE de LA CHAPELLE ROYALE et de son Ensemble Vocal Européen Direction Philippe Herreweghe" highlights a cultural partnership, while a printed signature "Maud Guédon" appears in the bottom right corner. The card also sports the characteristic electronic chip of French phone cards from the 1990s, positioned at the top left, with a pink marker next to it.

The visual includes an inset "TELECARTE 50 UNITES" in the bottom left, accompanied by a stylized telephone handset icon. The card has a matte surface with a textured visual effect, typical of phone cards from that era. No details of the reverse are visible in this image.

The card is placed on an ochre yellow fabric, with no visible accessories or packaging. No major defects are visible on the front, but the light reveals a very slight effect of wear or superficial micro-scratches, common on this type of used item.

This phone card is an emblematic object of telephone communications in France before the widespread adoption of mobile phones. The inscription refers to the patronage of the France Telecom Foundation towards the Chapelle Royale, a renowned vocal ensemble under the direction of Philippe Herreweghe.

With its marbled design and distinctive inscriptions, this card will appeal to collectors of vintage telephone items and memorabilia related to the history of French telecommunications.
