Description

Chip phone card, "Télécarte 50" model, illustrated with the route of the SEA-ME-WE 2 submarine cable connecting Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Western Europe. On the visible side, the card features a blue background with a stylized geographical map and a red path connecting cities such as Marseille, Algiers, Alexandria, Bombay, Singapore, and Jakarta. The name "SEA-ME-WE 2" is printed in white letters at the top right, accompanied by the mention "South East Asia, Middle East, Western Europe."

The left side of the card incorporates an electronic chip, typical of French phone cards from the 1990s. At the bottom right, the value "Télécarte 50" is indicated vertically on a light blue band. There is also an illustration of a stylized cable-laying ship, symbolizing the laying of the submarine cable.

The design uses shades of blue to evoke the maritime aspect, with a contrast between the geographical map and the graphic elements. Cities and connection points are marked by small yellow circles connected by a continuous red line. No other text or brand logo is visible on this side.
