Description

French chip-based phone card, known as a Télécarte, featuring a bright yellow border and a distinctive golden electronic chip on the upper part. On the left side of the card, a vertical yellow strip bears the inscription "Télécarte 50" in white letters, indicating a capacity of 50 units. The main background of the card displays a graphic pattern consisting of repeated white text on a dark blue background: "If you're already tired of reading all this, turn this card over." This original pattern, both playful and typical of 1990s design, gives the object an immediately recognizable style.

The visible chip in the upper center attests to the digital storage technology used in French telecommunications at that time. The edges are rounded, and the rectangular format conforms to telephone card standards. No brand logo or serial number is visible on this side.

The card is photographed on a golden yellow fabric background, which highlights its colors and graphics. No major signs of wear, deep scratches, or noticeable stains are visible on the presented side, apart from some slight traces of use consistent with vintage use. The surface retains a uniform shine.

This type of yellow chip Télécarte, with the mention "50 units" and text design, is emblematic of the style of cards distributed in France in the 90s, before the widespread adoption of mobile phones. The minimalist graphic presentation, combined with a touch of humor, perfectly illustrates the creative trends of that period.
