Description

This phone card, also known as a telecard, is an iconic vintage item from the late 20th century. It features a matte white finish with a distinctive visual on the front: a red ribbon formed by a coiled cord, the international symbol of the fight against AIDS. On the left, the golden electronic chip is clearly visible, typical of the telecards used in France at that time.

In the bottom left, the inscription "Télécarte 50" indicates the card's capacity in units, a feature sought after by collectors of old phone cards. To the right, the phone number "05.36.66.36" and the mention "Sida Info Service" (AIDS Info Service) are printed in green and black, highlighting the informational and social purpose of this edition.

The right side of the card features a public awareness message: "People affected by AIDS need our listening. Their families, friends, and all those who support them do too." This card was produced by Agence Leste, whose signature appears in small print on the right edge, adding an extra touch of authenticity to this vintage promotional item.

The design is typical of the 1990s-2000s, with a clean aesthetic, contrasting colors, and clear typography. The white background highlights the red ribbon and inscriptions, while the metallic chip on the left recalls the technological aspect of telecards from this period.
