Description
This phone card, known as a "Télécarte", features an original visual design with a dominant blue colour. On the visible side, there is a graphic composition depicting several stylised monuments, including an identifiable representation of the leaning Tower of Pisa, accompanied by other architectural structures in a dreamlike style. The entire decor plays on shades of light and dark blue, creating a nocturnal or wintery atmosphere. In the upper left, the mention "Télécarte 50" is inscribed in white on a blue background, indicating the card's capacity in units.

The illustration, both modern and slightly surreal, blends European architectural elements in a deconstructed perspective. The golden electronic chip, visible on the right, is clearly present and incorporates a classic geometric pattern typical of French chip cards from the 1990s. The card's outline is clean, with rounded corners typical of this type of object.

The card has a smooth and shiny finish, characteristic of the laminated phone cards of that era. No major defects are visible on the photographed side: the surface appears clean, without notable scratches, chips, or apparent rub marks. The pattern printing remains very clear, without discolouration.

This model stands out for its colourful and thematic graphics, making it a representative object from the period of intensive use of chip phone cards in France. The card is photographed against a mustard yellow background, which enhances its bluish tones and retro aesthetic.

Condition
Used item sold as is. The visible side is in very good visual condition, with no apparent defects.

Did you know? Chip phone cards were introduced in France in the early 1980s and had their golden age in the 1990s, before the rise of mobile phones. They were used in public phone booths and came in many visual designs, often created by artists or for special occasions.
