AFW - Antique France Worldwide
Description
Audio cassette visible in the photo, French edition from the "Ambiance" collection, titled "Sur un air de Charleston" (To a Charleston Tune). The j-card features a graphic design on a pink background, adorned with black silhouettes of a couple dancing the Charleston, typical of the retro aesthetic inspired by the 1920s. The visual includes white circles evoking movement, with stylized typography for the word "Ambiance" and a blue-grey frame containing the phrase "Sur un air de Charleston". A quote at the bottom of the j-card is legible: "Yes sir that's my baby. She had her hair cut..."
The cassette is protected by a standard clear case, revealing the j-card in apparently perfect condition on the front. No visible defects on the surface of the case or on the j-card. The overall item has a distinctly retro look, both in its graphics and in the choice of colors and silhouettes, consistent with themes of dance and mood music.
The visible side only shows one side of the j-card; no other details of the cassette or the back are observable in the image. The object belongs to the category of analog audio media, typical of the 80s to 90s, a period during which this type of thematic compilation was common.
The inscription "Collection Ambiance" evokes a series of cassettes dedicated to different musical styles or dance atmospheres. The choice of the Charleston, an iconic dance of the interwar period, reinforces the retro and festive aspect of this edition.
The graphic design, with stylized silhouettes and handwritten typography, is in line with the visual trends of the 80s-90s, a period when the Roaring Twenties revival was particularly popular in cultural and musical products.
Condition
Used item, sold as is. The front of the case and the j-card appear in good visual condition, with no notable defects on the visible area. The condition of the other sides or the magnetic tape is not observable in this image.
