Description

Audio CD presented in a standard jewel case, featuring a color photograph of Louis Armstrong playing the trumpet on the front. The cover has a predominantly red and beige background, with the title "IMMORTAL CONCERTS" at the top, followed by "LOUIS ARMSTRONG and his All-Stars" in golden and red capital letters. The venue and date of the concert ("Pasadena, Civic Auditorium, June 20, 1956") as well as the list of accompanying musicians (Trummy Young, Edmond Hall, Billy Kyle, Arvell Shaw, Barrett Deems, and Velma Middleton) are clearly visible on the right, against a red background.

The main visual highlights Louis Armstrong's expressive face, dressed in a black tuxedo with a white bow tie, captured mid-performance. In the bottom right corner, the colorful "GIANTS OF JAZZ" logo is printed, reinforcing the identity of this edition dedicated to jazz legends. The jacket does not feature any other decorative elements, apart from the text and the artist's image.

The entire visible surface of the case appears in good general condition, with some light signs of wear on the plastic, typical of a used disc. No major chips or apparent cracks are visible on the photographed part.

This CD features a historic live recording, captured in 1956, bringing together Louis Armstrong and several iconic figures of traditional jazz. The graphic aesthetic evokes a vintage edition, faithful to the spirit of reissues of legendary jazz concerts.

The typography used for the title and additional mentions is clear, legible, and contributes to the retro appearance of the object. The dominant colors (red, beige, gold) recall the visual codes of classic jazz and heritage music collections.
