Description

Old round metal ashtray, with a patinated finish. The object is adorned with embossed plant motifs, mainly stylized leaves arranged around the perimeter, reminiscent of Art Deco or early 20th-century aesthetics. Two cigarette rests are integrated into the structure on the front, on either side of the central circle.

The central part of the ashtray is decorated with an old black and white image, protected by glass or a transparent surface. The image depicts a panorama titled "LA SAINTE-BAUME. Vue Générale" (LA SAINTE-BAUME. General View), an inscription legible on a label integrated into the photo. This decor evokes a vintage postcard or tourist view, inserted into the ashtray as a regional souvenir.

The whole presents a slightly matte metallic surface, with some signs of wear and small irregularities typical of antique objects. The reliefs and details of the plant decor are clearly visible, adding character to the piece. The overall hue is a silvery grey, with no apparent additional colouring.
